CORVIS EPIC BOOK ONE
A huge space-cruiser, retrofitted to carry 315 orphans, blasts off just as World War III begins. Their destination is Enceladus, a secret colony on a moon of Saturn. The ship is piloted by Corvis, an ICU nurse with no space-pilot experience.
A billion miles away, Billy is chosen for the coveted position of Apprentice Dragomark, interpreting messages from the Satendrites, single-celled organisms that see objects at great distances with incredible acuity, to humans on Enceladus. He will also be elected Captain of the Elite Squadron of Enceladus’s Defense Force. Strong and charismatic, he engenders air-tight solidarity among the fighter pilots.
Corvis’s medical skills help the orphans survive illnesses, but when criminals attack, how will they survive since they have no weapons? When one of the ship’s engines fails, a critical part of their propulsion and steering mechanism is destroyed.
Can they possibly make it to Enceladus? Will Corvis find love?
“… refugee camp and children with one snuggling into Corvis’s lap brought tears to my eyes.”
CORVIS EPIC BOOK TWO
Someone murdered Corvis’s husband, Billy. Corvis wants to catch them and so do the police. Things get more complicated as impossible demands are made, and more people are murdered.
Two people disappear completely.
Satendrites, microscopic organisms that see with extreme accuracy, help Mary, who is 18 years old and blind, discover faint marks in the snow, which turn out to have been made by the alien ship that abducted the missing Enceladans.
Threads get tied up, one-by-one: the missing persons are returned by the alien, Billy’s murderer is caught. A power-hungry crime boss commits suicide.
Corvis forges bonds of trust with the alien, but can he find human love again?
“World-building: some really cool things; the ice moon, the domes, the secret civilization, even the fishing cabins. I loved the part where Corvis had to step out of the domes in a spacesuit to go ice-fishing. So cool! The satendrites as well are so awesome.”
CORVIS EPIC BOOK THREE
Corvis must save the solar system from the evil Dromish. To do so he must travel at nearly the speed of light for years to reach their planet. On the way he is transformed into a super being, the Raven.
On Zhakad he must convince the Emperor that he has superpowers that will benefit the Dromish or defeat them.
Corvis, now the Raven, has phenomenal resources for healing. He is loved and respected, but he misses his family.
When he returns to Enceladus, he has aged little, but everyone he knows and loves has grown much older.
His children are almost adults, and life on Enceladus has changed, and he is Corvis again. How will he fit in? Is the Dromish threat resolved?
